Today’s Redemption

God,
i give the palsied reach-

the worthless ambitions of this morning,

to You.

and i do so,
with a shout-

for indeed Lord,

gently,
You, take it all up,
Your hands, fragrant
with the quiet
of
forgiveness.

and i wrinkle, inwardly,
with joy,
as i watch the gracious,
grasping,
of Your finger tips

each one
– ruddy,
with today’s redemption.
